V45 '83 V45 SABRE, MAGNA ADDENDUM OPTICAL-FIBER ANTITHEFT DEVICE The divice consists of a built-in power source, buzzer, photo transistor light emitting diode (LED), and fiber scope locking wire. Function Braking the fiber scope causes the buzzer to sound due to interrupted transmission of light from the LED to the photo transistor. A 9V dry battery is used to operate the system. The wire can be connected and disconnected with the ignition key and is stored in a compartment below the left side cover.
